Our internship programs allow young professionals to gain practical knowledge into church ministry, organizational structure and planning and host of other skillset relevant to both corporate and ministry environments.

What is the Internship program about?

The Harvesters Ministry Internship Program (HMIP) is a six-month transformative journey designed to equip young professionals with practical ministry experience and essential leadership skills. Running from January to June 2025, HMIP blends ministry-focused and corporate experiences to help participants grow spiritually, sharpen leadership abilities, and engage deeply in Harvesters' mission and operations. Open to participants from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, this program offers hands-on training in ministry excellence and leadership development. What are you to Expect?

The program includes weekly team meetings, leadership development sessions, Bible studies, department-specific training, and more. It offers a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned leaders, develop your character, deepen your spiritual journey, and grow in your understanding of God’s calling on your life. As an intern in this program, you will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of ministry and life activities. Successful participants will be selected for the program.

The cut-off to submit applications is 6th of December 2024, however, we begin interviewing candidates on December 10th, 2024. 

Each intern will serve as a key ministry team member at weekend services and participate in weekly meetings. We also expect you to comply with Harvesters Employee Code of Conduct during the course of the internship. 

Potential interns must be at least between 20 – 26 years. 

Each intern’s tasks will differ depending on the department he/she supports. However, all Harvesters interns are considered valuable team members and are tasked with completing real projects that have an impact on the business of Harvesters. All interns will participate in weekly development sessions designed to develop them both professionally and personally. 

Harvesters will provide a mentor, coaching, and hands-on training in your selected area. It’s a priceless opportunity to learn and grow from some of the top leaders in the area.

The January 2025 HMIP is a 6-month hybrid program combining classroom training, practical learning, and ministry involvement.

Key features include:

  • Core Department Rotations: Hands-on experience across key departments.
  • Weekly Schedule: Attendance required on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
  • Structured Learning: Morning classes and afternoon practical sessions.
  • Book Reviews: Discussions aligned with program objectives.
  • Team Collaboration: Participants will work in assigned groups.

This program equips participants with the skills and spiritual growth needed for impactful ministry.

Internship Begins – January 8th, 2025

Internship Ends – June 20th, 2025 

Graduation – June 25th, 2025 

A minimum commitment of 27 hours a week is expected for each intern.  

No! We expect everyone registering to be able to commit 6 months straight to the internship program

No you cannot! We expect total commitment to the internship program during the 6month period 

Yes, but only for selected participants outside Lagos, In Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe

Yes, some of our best hires have come through the internship program; however, a job is not guaranteed at the end of the internship. The program serves as a pipeline to potential full-time employment, which is dependent on factors such as performance during the internship and the availability of roles within the organization.
